New Orleans 11.11.11.
My close friends PR and Ane decided to tie the knot in New Orleans.
The rest of this post concerns itself with New Orleans the place.

New Orleans was not really on my list of places to visit but I am so glad I did.
It has a unique creative atmosphere with all sorts of interesting friendly people to meet.
The famed southern hospitality is really in evidence which makes for an unforgettable experience.
See a band or walk around the quaint streets, or ride the vintage trams, or take a cemetery tour.
Get out of town and see the swamp, with its beautiful Cypress tress with beards of spanish moss.
Eat a poor-boy or have some seafood and buy some hot sauce to take home.
If that isn’t enough try following a second line funeral march and joining in with the dancing and fun.
If you have the stamina to look through 300 photos then look away.
If you are ever in New Orleans, make sure to visit the AllWays Lounge on St Claude for an authentic night away from the crowds.
The pictures begin there so form your own impression.
I’ve sent off photos of New Orleans to various places and hope to link through to travel sites in due cause.
I also made this short video of all the bands we saw in New Orleans, which has a vibrant brass band scene.
Enjoy.
