Had a job recently mainly doing colour swatches for a client selling scarves with a couple of model shots.
It was an interesting job as the colours understandably have to be accurate.
Getting the colour temperature correct for the shoot and balancing things afterward is actually very difficult and involved.
Still it is possible but the taking of the photos is only the first step. Photoshop and time does the rest.

Another great exhibition at Viktor Wynd’s Fine Art Inc.
When I first saw Mat’s work I was amazed at the sense of immersion in his work, so much detail and presented as a room where the walls and floor are made up of painted panels picturing an imagined underwater scene.
It was incredibly hard to photograph with all the light reflections and really hard to give a real sense of it, but there is a photo here to give you a taste.

Here with a portrait of Mat

I didn’t get to meet Katie but her work perfectly compliments mat’s in this exhibition

The exhibition runs until the end of April 2011, more information
I was recently asked to take photos of an exhibition by NICHOLAS McARTHUR and CHIARA AMBROSIO.
I met up with Chaira to go over the exhibition and was amazed at the work.
Rather than try to talk about it, I’ll let the pictures speak for themselves and link you to all the information.
Be sure to look around the site as there are many more things of interest to see.
The portrait is of Chiara herself talking to me about the work.
About The Artists
More of My Photos at The Gallery
I have worked for The Last Tuesday Society on a number of occasions on their club nights and I am happy to announce that I am now their official photographer. I went over to the wonderful shop, Viktor Wynd’s Little Shop of Horrors, and art gallery, Viktor Wynd’s Fine Art Ink, in London’s Hackney. Never seen anything quite like it, its well worth a visit with a small museum downstairs there is plenty to see and marvel at.
For the future we have a collaborative project in mind but I’ll keep quiet about that for the moment.
I am actually off there again now to photograph the current art exhibition for the artists. More on that later too.
Until then see a few photographs that will give a little glimpse into the world of London’s best curiosity art shop.
